<p>An autoresponder is a program that will automatically respond to an email message sent to a predefined address in your domain. This is useful for automatically sending out information via email based on a user&#8217;s emailed request.</p>
<p>Managing a large email list can be one big headache and take time away from your article writing. Your autoresponder will manage your list for you. It will automate additions to your list when visitors to your website choose to give their information for your free product. The autoresponder will also handle any request to unsubscribe from your list as well. </p>
<p>Your squeeze page will have a web form that allows your visitors to exchange their information for your product. This form will be generated by your autoresponder and all you have to do is cut and paste to your webpage in the desired location.</p>
<p>** Where Do You Get an Autoresponder?**</p>
<p>There are two distinct types of autoresponders that you have access to. They are an autoresponder script and an autoresponder service. </p>
<p>Autoresponder Script</p>
<p>An autoresponder script resides on the server that you use for web hosting. Many of the professional grade web hosts have built in autoresponders. While these are nice most are not well suited to email marketing. So you may want to purchase a professional auto responder script. </p>
<p>With the use of a script come a few responsibilities though. You are going have to either install the script yourself or have it professionally installed. Some web hosts are very helpful and will install the script for you, others will not. Some professional autoresponder scripts have installation included in the purchase price.</p>
<p>When using a script you will have to be aware of the SPAM laws and handle any SPAM complaints your self. There have been businesses that have lost their web hosting because of SPAM complaints. You are going to have to be very careful that you do not violate any of the SPAM laws or you will risk this yourself.</p>
<p>Last but not least you may suffer from an inability to deliver your email messages. If your host has a bad rating with the various SPAM lists, that rating will transfer to you. Even though you have your own domain name you still share an IP address with the server that your site is housed on. It is the IP address of the host server that the SPAM lists and ISPs use when rating your email.</p>
<p>Autoresponder Service</p>
<p>Autoresponder services are companies who specialize in delivering email and managing email lists. </p>
<p>These services charge a monthly fee which is usually between $19 and $25 per month but are in my opinion very much worth it. </p>
<p>Using an autoresponder service alleviates you from the responsibility of having an intimate knowledge of SPAM laws and they handle any SPAM complaints. </p>
<p>A company that specializes in email delivery works very hard to keep their reputation clean with SPAM lists and ISPs alike. With a service you will enjoy a much higher delivery rate for you email, usually in the 90% range or above.</p>
<p>Autoresponders are an absolute must if you want to earn big time profits online. They are used to manage your list, automate your email delivery, and make money. Script or Service, it is your choice, but make sure you have one. If you dont then go back to a day job.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In our last installment of this mini-course we spent some time on how to create powerful, attention grabbing headlines. With this installment we will delve into creating an effective and compelling Authors Resource Box.</p>
<p>The Authors Resource Box is really the only selling tool that you have in the Article Marketing business and it completely mystifies me when I see so many good article writers neglecting it and simply settling for an average resource box. I dont want you to make that same mistake.</p>
<p>** Step 10  Write an Authors Resource Box that Gets Clicks **</p>
<p>There are a few tricks to turning an Authors Resource Box from Joe Average into a Subscriber Magnet. The concepts are very simple and yet very powerful.</p>
<p>1.) Speak of Yourself in Third-Person</p>
<p>Have you ever looked at the authors credentials in the back of a book written by one of your favorite authors? I am willing to be that it is written in third-person. </p>
<p>Speaking of yourself in third-person lends credibility to the words that you write.</p>
<p>2.) Talk About the Expertise You Have in Your Field</p>
<p>I have a son who is disabled with Asperger&#8217;s Syndrome. If I were going to write an article about the how do cope with a child who has this condition I might use something like this:</p>
<p>Lee Ruleman has a child who was diagnosed with Asperger&#8217;s Syndrome at age 3. Through the last 20 years Lee has learned a great deal about how to effectively cope with the day to day care of such a child.</p>
<p>I have demonstrated that I know about the condition and that I have experience in dealing with individuals who suffer from it. Anyone who is interested in reading about the condition or how to cope with someone who suffers from it would be very inclined to click on my link to find our more. </p>
<p>With those short words I have defined myself as an expert in the field. You can do the same with the subject you are writing about. All it takes is a little creative thinking.</p>
<p>3.) Include a Call to Action</p>
<p>We as human beings have been conditioned since birth to expect to be told what to do. Our parents were the first who told us what to do then our teachers and in the adult world our boss. Make this conditioning work for you.</p>
<p>The call to action can be very subtle such as please visit us at: Web URL or as bold as Click Here for More Information. The way you use a call to action is completely up to you, but dont neglect to do it.</p>
<p>There are a few simple things to remember about the resource box. Always include your name, a few sentences about yourself, a call to action, and your real URL. Even though these are the basics of the resource box, you can always improve on the way in which you utilize them.</p>

Why should I believe you? &#8211; when people read your articles, they usually don&#8217;t know the first thing about you. And since there are so many scams and rip-offs on the Internet, it is really hard to build trust. One of the best ways to get people to believe in you is to stay consistent. If people see your name each and every time they read articles, they will gradually trust you more. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I was in college, the metric was an idol.  Students focused more on their G.P.A. and their test scores than on what they were learning.  They were more focused on taking the right amounts of credits to complete their major, then on their field of study. <br/><br/>After college, no one asked me about my grades, and no one even asked to see my diploma; my potential employers only wanted to know what I knew and whether those skills would help their business. <br/><br/>Now that I&#8217;m making my living online, I&#8217;m seeing that phenomena once again, the metric is more important than the knowledge. <br/><br/>This is very obvious when it comes to article marketing. <br/><br/>The original idea is superbsharing nuggets of your expertise to help others.  As a marketing tool, it brands you as an expert.  Over time, it creates an audience and a dedicated readership. <br/><br/>Yet article spam is threatening to kill the value of articles.   <br/><br/>It&#8217;s possible to buy articles in bulk and put your name on it as an author.  It&#8217;s also possible to trick the filters, the human reviewers and the search engine robots, by changing the headline and using a thesaurus to change the words. <br/><br/>The purpose behind this whole phenomena is to increase backlinks to your website, improve your search engine placement, and increase traffic coming to your website.  These are the metrics. <br/><br/>However, just as the purpose of college is to gather knowledge, improving one&#8217;s understanding of self, world, and life, so too the purpose of articles is to disseminate knowledge. <br/><br/>Sticking to the purpose, the metric takes care of itself. <br/><br/>Yet when the metric becomes the focus, the result is an outlay of superficiality.  The value of knowledge becomes diluted.  When 2,000 other people are saying pretty much the same thing, there isn&#8217;t much value to the content. <br/><br/>Ultimately, this incorrect focus causes a series of collapses.  As search engine robots become more refined and human reviewers become more wary, the articles are cast aside, rejected, and the instant expert status is quickly lost. <br/><br/>There is another way.  Really becoming an expert, studying your interests, becoming knowledgeable about it, and passing on the information to others.   <br/><br/>Thus, rolling out one article after another, and providing readers with thought-provoking content, you&#8217;re a purveyor of value.  It&#8217;s slower, but the branding lasts, and over time, as your articles circulate, your metric improves all by itself. <br/><br/></p>
